
Somatic Trauma Healing
Somatic Healing is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between the mind and body, particularly how emotions and past experiences are stored in the body. This practice helps you reconnect with your body and your inner experience, allowing you to heal and transform trauma, emotions and mental patterns.
Our bodies often “hold” unresolved emotions or trauma, which can manifest as physical sensations, tension, pain, or discomfort. In Somatic Healing, we use body awareness to tune into these sensations, access the emotions or mental patterns connected to them, and transform them. This is the pathway to healing the underlying trauma. Afterwards we feel lighter, happier and more at peace!
This process also rewires and regulates the nervous system, helping you break free from cycles of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm, and restoring a state of calm, resilience and aliveness.

In a Somatic Healing session, the body-centred techniques we use include breathwork, movement, touch, and focusing on bodily sensations. These practices help release stored emotions or trauma in a safe way, facilitating healing and transformation. Somatic Healing reconnects you to your body’s innate wisdom, allowing you to feel confident and empowered.
